Communication is key. VIP Scoops will send you a reminder the day of your service and a photo of your locked/closed gate upon completion. If there is a change in your pet’s poop, a hole in your fence or something else out of the ordinary, you’ll receive a picture message with the details.

TERMS:

VIP Scoops is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet waste management services to residential and commercial properties. You agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the Services you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms. The customer understands our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of grass height, access to your yard which is your own responsibility, and other unknown outside influences.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Scooping hours fall between dawn and dusk 7 days a week.

APPOINTMENT TIMES:

VIP Scoops does not accept day or time-specific requests.

ACCESSING YOUR YARD:

For the safety of our scoopers and your dogs, all dogs must be inside while we provide our services. The Customer understands that if VIP Scoops can’t access the area to be cleaned due to locked/ blocked /frozen gates or dogs in the yard, the scoop will be skipped, and charges will still apply. If the customer requests us to come back, a $10 return fee will be added to the customer’s bill.

WASTE DISPOSAL:

VIP Scoops will double bag all waste and place it in your specified trash can.

WEATHER:

VIP Scoops will work through the rain and cold if it is safe do so. The customer understands VIP Scoops cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding or an accumulation of snow. VIP Scoops is a MONTHLY subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to the weather. In these cases, we will skip service for that week and scoop the following week. A refund will not be issued as we still have to pick up all the poop that would have been scooped the prior week. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call and we will do our best to accommodate your request - but cannot guarantee it. Additionally, we do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.

LEAVES, DEBRIS & TALL GRASS:

VIP Scoops will always clean your yard to the best of our ability. We understand that maintaining a yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, there may be some dog waste that is missed. Rest assured, we will be back on our next scheduled visit and scoop anything that was left behind if yard maintenance is complete. If you find an excessive amount that was missed, please let us know as soon as possible at hellovipscoops@gmail.com .

DIARRHEA & LOOSE STOOLS:

Diarrhea and loose stools will be scooped up to the best of our ability. Any waste that is not solid may leave remnants in the grass.

INITIAL CLEANING:

Before starting weekly services, VIP Scoops requires an initial clean-up and clean-up fee. Initial cleaning starts at $65 and depends on how long it has been since the yard was completely poop-free as well as the size & composition of the area we are scooping. A $50 non-refundable deposit secures the appointment. The deposit will go towards the final cost of your cleaning. Initial cleanings require a 48-hour cancellation notice. If you cancel the appointment after the 48- hour window, your deposit will not be refunded. The deposit protects us from last minute cancellations or inability to access your yard. Initial cleanings require the customer to be home so that we can meet, have you show us your yard and provide final payment. After the initial clean, we do not require you to be home, if we can access the back yard and the dogs are secured inside. You will be given a cost estimate based on the details you provide, however, if we arrive and the amount of waste is much more (or even less) we will adjust our fee for that initial clean. If we arrive and the waste accumulation is only about a week’s worth, we will waive the initial clean-up fee and start your weekly services instead, which we invoice monthly.

ONE TIME/ SPRING CLEANING:

One-Time Cleanups and Spring Cleaning start at $99. The cost of this service depends on how long it has been since the yard was completely poop-free as well as the size & composition of the area we are scooping. A $50 non-refundable deposit secures the appointment. The deposit will go towards the final cost of your cleaning. One-Time Cleanups and Spring Cleaning require a 48-hour cancellation notice. If you cancel the appointment after the 48- hour window, your deposit will not be refunded. The deposit protects us from last minute cancellations or inability to access your yard.

BILLING:

VIP Scoops is a monthly service (except for Spring Cleaning and/or One-Time Cleanups) and we pre-bill monthly for our services. Your first invoice is due the day your services start. Each month afterwards, your account will be automatically charged on that same day via recurring invoices. If your card is declined or your bill is unpaid for any reason, service will be discontinued immediately until the payment has been received. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean up and you would like to resume services, an initial clean up fee will be applied. One Time Cleanups and/or Spring Cleaning require a deposit to hold your appointment time. The remainder of the cost will be billed directly after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more than 30 days late VIP Scoops will turn your account over to collections. At this time VIP Scoops accepts Cash, Venmo or PayPal only.

HOLIDAYS & VACATION:

VIP Scoops does not scoop on Memorial Day, 4th of July & the following day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day & the following day, and Christmas Day. If your pickup day falls on one of these days, we will skip service that week and pick up the following week. There are no refunds for a missed pick up. We still must do the work and pick up all the poop from the week prior. To prevent burnout, VIP Scoops will shut down for 2 or 3 weeks out of the year. You will be notified in advance of these dates. You will be billed at your normal monthly rate unless you scoop your yard fully during our shut down.

CANCELLING MONTHLY SERVICE:

Please let VIP Scoops know 30 days in advance of when you want your last weekly cleaning. There are no cancellation charges.

VIP GUARANTEE:

VIP Scoops guarantees its work and can be contacted for scooping touch-ups within 24 hours after service in which all work is final.

PRIVACY POLICY:

VIP Scoops may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and social media handle. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting such as the type of property and area needing service, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior. VIP Scoops collects information about you to provide you with our services. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties. VIP Scoops may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance or development of our System. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law.

REVISIONS:

VIP Scoops provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance of any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
